Mariam Denny

Director of Operations and Children's Education
Mariam joined our staff in November 2012 as the Children's Education Director. In October 2018 she was hired to also serve in the role of Director of Operations where she oversees all of the church's events and manages the weekly use of the church facility. Mariam was born and raised in Southern California, and during her high school years, her family moved to the Bay Area. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on childhood development. She met her husband Scott at Cal and was married in 1992. She spent 5 years as a preschool teacher before the birth of their twins, Joseph and Matthew (1997). The birth of their daughter Katherine (2001) and son Nicholas (2004) round out the family.
